HOW IT STARTED...
I was raised on the summer vacation destination of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, and grew up surrounded by the intimacy of nature’s influences as well as the draw of the ocean. For as long as I can remember, I have always been making – and as mud pies turned into clay pots, keeping my hands busy meant a happy and *almost* content me. In high school, I became intrigued by the potter’s wheel and the forgiving tactility of clay. From there, I began teaching myself the craft through watching YouTube videos. At the time, I had no idea what an important role pottery would play in my life.
After graduating from high school in 2016, I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. It was there that my love of art, pottery in particular, deepened. I earned my BFA in May of 2020 and moved to San Diego shortly thereafter. Here, my love of the ocean and cosmopolitan lifestyle have found their zenith.

...AND WHERE WE ARE NOW
All wares are created on my 3 foot wide balcony as I work towards building this tiny business of mine. I currently sell my work independently (through my website and Etsy), as well as wholesale to small niche stores and boutiques across the country.
Inspired by the ever-shifting line between art and craft, I create whimsically modern pottery intended to spark joy with every use. With an emphasis on simplistic beauty, craftsmanship, and of course functionality, I strive for people to contemplate whether or not they wish to display my tableware or eat from them. Ultimately, I hope they choose to do both. I am most proud of my desire to straddle the line between art and craft, decorative and functional.
